2019 Production: Eldritch Manor

Coming to ArtSpring this April 26, 27 & 28, StageCoach Theatre School presents our 2019 production featuring “Eldritch Manor,” and performances by Intermediate and Improv Theatre. Our year-end production is full of bright and enthusiastic students keen to entertain. Our Intermediate class performers will astonish! Our Improv class will amuse! Then behold our premiere of “Eldritch Manor,” delightfully adapted for the stage by Salt Spring author Kim Thompson from her youth novel series, with original music scored by Keith Ollerenshaw and Caroni Young. Christine Penhale joins us again as our music director.

12-year-old Willa Fuller is convinced that the old folks in the shabby boarding house down the street are prisoners of their sinister landlord Trang. Only when Willa is hired on as housekeeper does she discover the truth, which is far more fascinating: Eldritch Manor is a retirement home for ancient creatures of myth and legend, and all have stories to tell. Can she keep the oldsters in line, stitch up unraveling time, and repel an all-out attack from the forces of darkness? Come and see, and learn along with her the startling secret about her past.
