From the Real Play Productions website…
“We are gearing up for our third season after WildSwans in 2016, The Marsh Kings’s Daughter in Spring 2017.
Our 2017/2018 production will be Ronja, the Robber’s Daughter, an exciting tale based on a novel by Astrid Lindgren, (Pippi Longstocking). It is a great story of warring robber bands who live in a forest. One stormy night, unbeknownst to each other, the leaders of the two bands each have their first child. These two robber’s children, both expected to one day lead their robber band, become great friends. This is a story of overcoming fears, of understanding love, and of knowing that prejudice is not something we are born with, but that we are taught”.
This year will again include opportunities to play build, create choreography, act, dance, sing, create costumes and build sets, as students can partake in all aspects of producing a show.
The show will run at Mahon Hall May 25, 26, 27, 2018.
